Wainwright Buffalo National Park and Bodo Archaeological Society Interpretive Display and Exhibits (Project 2)

This project is part of an existing historical tourism initiative that began in 2001. This phase of the project involves the creation of permanent but portable displays to accurately and effectively tell the story of Buffalo National Park and the Bodo Archaeological Site in several venues in and around Wainwright, Provost and Bodo.

Business Visitation Program: Hanna and District (Project 9)
This project is to develop a business visitation program in Hanna and district to identify needs, current issues, and linkages to assist the business community.

Community Investment Readiness Special Areas and MD of Acadia (Project 26)
The communities within the Special Areas and the MD of Acadia are ready to market their assets to investment and create an investment friendly community. The intent of this project is to create comprehensive Community Profiles, create a current inventory of saleable lots, develop a quick facts brochure, and analyze the results of the Business Visitation Program.

Building an Icon (Project 45)
The goal of this project is to develop professional tourism development tools for the region covered by the Special Areas and MD of Acadia (SAMDA) in southeastern Alberta. Trail of the Buffalo Web Site

Trail of the Buffalo Packaging (Project 65)
The goal of this project is to develop four to seven day tour packages that would include activities, sight seeing and accommodation.

Defense Industry Development Phase III (Project 81)
The purpose of Phase III is create a virtual training Centre to increase the knowledge and ability of local businesses to successfully bid on federal government contracts, particularly those available through the Canadian Forces Bases in Alberta.

Alberta Youth Entrepreneurship Camp Curriculum Development (Project 82)
The purpose of this project is to develop and enhance the training curriculum for both campers and youth leaders and to share this information with CFs in northern Alberta who will be offering a similar camp for youth in the north.

Eastern Economic Development Corridor and 24 Hour Border Crossing (Project 86)
The purpose of the project is to prepare, coordinate and promote a study on the economic impacts and opportunities to support the establishment of a second 24 hour commercial border crossing in Alberta, at Port of Wild Horse along Highway 41. Eastern
